Plugins modify weapons and player stats. Before using an Installer, check which kind it is: the release announcement explicitly says Cracked Installers need no Keys and Legendary Installers need three. Leftover Keys can be kept or sold through keyBuy in the Safe Folder. These are confirmed full-release differences.

Check the requirement before spending

Cracked InstallerRequires no KeysDo not assume every Installer spends a Key
Legendary InstallerRequires 3 KeysCompare your available Keys with the requirement

The table deliberately does not invent a universal rule for every other Installer. Read the requirement shown in your game when a type is not covered here.

Keygen and Plugin are different steps

The official store connects opening Keygens with installing Plugins. A July 14 Demo update further describes Keygen Files spawning a Key that the player must pick up. That pickup detail is a dated Demo statement, not proof that every full-release interaction is unchanged.

The practical check is simple: confirm that the Key is actually available in your game before deciding you can use an Installer. Opening something and having its resource ready are not assumptions to substitute for the UI.

Compare the choice with your current run

The release has 62 Plugins, according to the store description. They can affect weapons and player stats, so a useful reading order is: what changes, which part of your setup benefits, and what tradeoff the description names. Rarity alone is not enough evidence to recommend one Plugin for every build.

We do not provide an untested Plugin tier list or a guaranteed combination. Likewise, a named Steam achievement such as installing a number of Plugins is a completion goal; it does not establish an undocumented Plugin effect.

For resource decisions at the end of a folder, read the Safe Folder guide. For exploration rewards, see Files. Weapon-level upgrades belong in the Driver guide.
